  1. As a fire service historian I found two pictures on your website very interesting but I would like to make a couple of comments regarding the captions. Both pictures include the ERF hydraulic platform (NFU 121F) that was supplied new to the Lindsey County Fire Brigade in 1967 and was stationed at Laneham Street fire station in Scunthorpe but was re-allocated to Bridlington in 1976. This means that the line-up of fire engines could not have been taken when the new fire station opened in 1963 and it would not have been new when Bennet’s cycle shop caught fire in December 1969.
